Winner of six World Series titles --- four as a player and two more as a coach --- Yankees great Elston Howard made a name for himself playing alongside New York legends like Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. Offered is a white Spalding Official Pro League baseball signed by Howard, the former AL MVP and 12-time All-Star, in bold blue ink with the inscription “To Freddie Best of Luck” on the east panel. A “1969” inscription appears on the south panel of the ball in blue ink, though it’s unclear if Howard penned the marking. A small brown stain appears near the sweet spot of the ball, but in no way detracts from Howard’s signature. The single-singed baseball comes with a full JSA LOA, certification number “Y39171.”
