The very popular 8-3/4” x 5-1/2” R309-1 Goudey premium of Babe Ruth is presented here is fine collectible condition. These premiums were available by mail only and shipped in a plain manila envelope, with surviving relics that are severely prone to extensive wear. The reverse has an intact original easel backing, but contains several areas of staining. Ruth is one of four premiums issued by Goudey that year, and is shown in his famous full length batting pose also used on card #144 in the 1933 Goudey series. Graded by SGC 20 FAIR 1.5.
