All the original American League All Star players are included in this team photo taken before the first All Star game played a season earlier in Chicago’s Comiskey Park. Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Gomez, Dickey and Connie Mack are exhibited, with Mack nattily dressed in his standard heavy starched high collar dress shirt and three piece suit. The original easel remains firmly attached, and all printing and surfaces on this 8-3/4” x 5-1/2” premium are clean. These premiums were available by mail only and shipped in a plain manila envelope, with surviving relics are severely prone to extensive wear. This “high grade” example is graded by SGC 40 VG 3.
