During the Boston Red Sox four game sweep over the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2004 World Series, Albert Pujols attained five hits in 15 at bats with no home runs. The bat has been pinpointed by PSA to having been used during game 2 of the World Series. During this series Pujols used this un-cracked 34 inch, 31 ounce Louisville Slugger I13L model bat. His name “ALBERT PUJOLS” and “2004 WORLD SERIES” are engraved on the barrel, which shows several ball marks, stitch impressions and extensive rack marks, with a light coating of pine tar high up on the handle. His number “5” is written in black marker on the knob and inside the cupped barrel. Great use from a Pujols gamer of the 2004 World Series, a unique and very scarce bat. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B08382.
