Although 14-time Grand Slam tournament winner Pete Sampras retired in 2002 and was inducted to the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007 he could still be frequently found on the exhibition and ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) tour for many years to follow. Sampras used this Wilson racquet during the final two games of his 6-3 loss to Patrick Rafter at the PowerShares Series Tennis Champions Tour at Madison Square Garden on November 5, 2012. Sampras signed the racquet on the handle’s lavender tape which is secured at the top with a ring of red electrical tape. Racquet comes with USTA-Mei Gray Group LOA and certification hologram sticker #USTA 06513.
