Ironic how these “perfect” pitchers all signed this bat, when none of the teams they faced their biggest day on the mound made it safely to first base! This 35 inch Louisville Slugger “Don Larsen” block letter model bat has been boldly signed in blue Sharpie by 11 members of that exclusive club including Don Larsen, Jim Bunning, David Cone, Kenny Rogers, David Wells, Len Barker, Mike Witt, Dennis Martinez, Sandy Koufax, Jim Catfish Hunter and Tom Browning. Each pitcher also has added the date of their perfecto, while Larsen added “1956 WS Perfect Game.” Interesting to note none of the “recent” inductees to this club have signed the bat, allowing the winning bidder a little challenge in tracking down Dallas Braden, Phillip Humber, Felix Hernandez, Randy Johnson, Matt Cain, Roy Halladay and Mark Buehrle for the live completion. Each end has a small bored hole indicating this bat may have been permanently displayed at one point. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
