Five-time All-Star outfielder and perennial post-season player for 12 straight seasons, New York Yankees fan-favorite outfielder Bernie Williams was responsible for one of the largest crowds in Trenton Thunder history (8,242), appearing in a rehab assignment game with the team’s AAA International League affiliate on July 4, 2003. Williams wore this size-50 royal blue, button-down, Trenton Thunder home jersey and signed his name in bold black sharpie with an “SDG” (Solo a Dios la Gloria: Only to God the Glory) inscription inside the 1 in his number 51. This appears in red and white tackle twill under a small American flag patch on the back. Thunder and Williams’ number 51 are also stitched across the front in red and white tackle twill with white piping running around the collar and alongside the buttons. A Yankees logo patch and Rawlings trademark “R” are on the left shoulder. Rawlings size-50 and washing instructions tags are stitched into the back collar with a manufactures label attached to the left front tail.

The 11” x 17” Trenton Thunder lineup card versus the New Britain Rock Cats is dated July 4, 2003 and signed by Williams in bold black sharpie next to his name in the batting order and by Thunder manager Stump Merrill in red sharpie at the bottom. Comes with PSA/DNA COAs number S9284 and S9285.
