Presented is an approximately 7.75” x 10” x 1.5” thick piece of the Great Western Forum, former home venue of the Los Angeles Lakers, and scene of many World Championships. The final year for the Lakers to play in the Forum was 1999. This piece is painted with the Lakers gold color, and has a plaque affixed reading, “SHOWTIME LIMITED EDITION L.A. FORUM FLOOR COURT AUTOGRAPHED MAGIC JOHNSON.” This facility was truly a home court advantage for the Lakers, and NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson was a participant for five of the six titles played in the Forum. The gold flooring is signed “Magic Johnson ‘Showtime’” which were the Lakers colorful nickname. It truly was Showtime with Magic and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the court and Jack Nicholson and other Hollywood celebrities court side. This is a unique piece of an historic venue signed by perhaps its greatest participant, all housed in a purple Lakers collector box. Full COA authenticating the signature from SuperStar Greetings, who organized the event.
