Since Babe Ruth set the standard when he hit his 500th HR, August 11, 1929, only 26 ballplayers have hit 500-plus HRs, 10 of them making the list in the 2000’s. 14 right-handed, 10 left-handed and two switch-hitting sluggers have surpassed the 500 HR mark. Albert Pujols became the newest member of the club when he hit his 500th HR this past April.

This collection includes a 1939 National League All-Stars multi-signed ball including Mel Ott, a 1942 Pride of the Yankees movie cast signed ball including Babe Ruth, and a 1945 Philadelphia Phillies team signed ball including Jimmie Foxx. Each multi-signed ball was signed in either a black or blue steel-tip fountain pen and includes an LOA from James Spence Authentication. The 23 remaining 500 HR Club members’ signatures are featured on (23) single-signed baseballs in blue or black ballpoint pen, some with an inscription of the number of HRs, including Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron “#755”, Willie Mays, Alex Rodriguez, Ken Griffey Jr., Jim Thome, Sammy Sosa, Frank Robinson “586 HR’s”, Mark McGwire, Harmon Killebrew “573 H.R.’s”, Rafael Palmeiro “569 HRS”, Reggie Jackson “563 HR”, Manny Ramirez, Mike Schmidt, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Willie McCovey “521 HR’S”, Frank Thomas “521 HR’S”, Albert Pujols, Ernie Banks “512 HR”, Eddie Mathews, Gary Sheffield “509 HR’S”, and Eddie Murray “3255/504”. 10 of the baseballs also include an inscription of the player’s number of career home runs. All signatures have been certified by PSA/DNA or JSA.
