Offered are two signed Sports Illustrated magazines that would make a great addition to any golf aficionado’s collection. Issued on July 15, 1963, Vol. 19 No. 3, the cover features Arnold Palmer and the title of Palmer’s article, “My Game and Yours,” a unique concept of golf, first of a five-part series. Part one of Palmer’s article, “Good Golf is a State of Mind,” can be found within the magazine. Palmer signed in black sharpie on the cover below the sketch of his portrait. This complete magazine shows minimal wear with a slight crease on the upper-right corner of the cover. The second item, issued on March, 27, 1978, Vol. 48 No. 14, features Jack Nicklaus “BETTER THAN EVER! Jack Nicklaus Wins the TPC” on the cover page. Nicklaus signed in black Sharpie to the left of his photograph. This complete magazine shows slight wear and tear with a crease on the upper corner throughout most of the pages and a small rip on the back cover. A COA from PSA/DNA, certification numbers H26413 and I22364, respectively, accompany each of these items along with a matching PSA/DNA sticker on the bottom-right corner of the cover pages.
