One of the greatest New York Yankees to remarkably never win a World Series, Don Mattingly posted numbers during his 14-year career with the Bronx Bombers certainly fitting of a championship ring. The current Dodgers manager was a nine-time Gold Glove winner and six-time All-Star who captured the American League MVP in 1985. This Mattingly game-used New York Yankees hat features the first baseman’s signature on the underside of the brim in bold, black Sharpie. The size 7 ¼ New Era Pro Model cap shows obvious signs of game use, including a ring a sweat marks from Mattingly’s long hairstyle. The white “NY” logo on the front of the hat shows some browning from game use and a small tear can be found above the seam on the left side of the cap. The signed hat comes with a COA from the Yankees Clubhouse, dated June 7, 1993, and an LOA from noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
