After 54 years of not winning a Stanley Cup Championship, the 1994 New York Rangers put all the ghosts to rest by winning their first Stanley Cup title since 1940. This Stanley Cup title is remembered for the Game 6 Eastern Conference title game guarantee by Mark Messier, and the stellar goal tending by Mike Richter. This pendant was likely issued to a member of the front office or staff. This 21.8 gram 10K gold pendant was manufactured by Balfour, and has a bed of 20 diamonds supporting the team name “RANGERS” surrounded by “STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS” around the perimeter in raised relief. The reverse has “CONGRATULATIONS WENDY 6/14/94”, which is the date of their 3-2 Game 7 victory. Also on the verso is stamped “LGB 10K”.
