Love 'em or hate 'em, you can't deny the 1986 Mets were one of baseball's most exciting teams. At the center of all the controversy and down-right great baseball was their right fielder, Darryl Strawberry. Though he hit just .259 that year, Straw always seemed to come through when you least expected it. His two home runs help the Mets top Houston in the playoffs and his round-tripper in Game 7 helped beat Boston for the World Championship. This bat was there as Strawberry and the Mets battled their way into history. Straw's Rawlings 113A bat shows moderate use and is cracked. The star of the famed '86 Mets has signed the bat's barrel in blue marker and his number "18" is hand written on both ends of the bat. A great gamer from the star of one of baseball's most storied World Series teams. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B08422).
