In 1983, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Major League All Star game, artist Robert Stephen Simon created paintings of former Yankee All-Stars and other former players, and each was presented to the players at the 1983 Yankee Old Timers Day. The card company TCMA produced a set of cards titled “50 YEARS OF YANKEE ALL STARS 1933-1983.” This set of cards has been signed by 34 former Yankee All Stars. Includes: Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford (2), Yogi Berra, Jim Catfish Hunter, Phil Rizzuto, Hank Bauer, Moose Skowron, Bobby Richardson, Bob Turley, Spec Shea, Mel Stottlemyre, Luis Arroyo, Ralph Terry, Allie Reynolds, Marius Russo, Johnny Sain, Bobby Shantz, Bobby Murcer, Irv Noren, Joe Pepitone, Fritz Peterson, Johnny Kucks, Ed Lopat, Sparky Lyle, Johnny Mize, Ryne Duren, Bob Grim, Tom Henrich, Bill Johnson, Tommy Byrne, Roy White and Jim Coates.
