The friendly outfielder was the face of the Braves during their doldrums years. Through their decades-long tour of the second division, Murphy was a perennial All-Star and two-time National League MVP. 1987, one of the four years this bat can be pinned down to, was Murphy's last great season. The outfielder hit 44 home runs and batting .295 as his borderline Hall of Fame career drew to a close. Murphy's Louisville Slugger B310 shows excellent game use with a cracked handle. His number "3" has been hand written in marker on both ends of the bat. A great gamer from one of the 1980's most feared hitters and class acts.
