In his prime, Memphis Bill Terry was a hitting machine - six seasons of 100 or more hits, six seasons of 100 or more RBI, nine consecutive seasons of hitting .320 or better - it's no wonder he was a much sought after manager and coach after his playing days ended. Dating from his coaching days in the 1950's, this classic Louisville Slugger was used by Memphis Bill to show the youngsters how it's done. As would be expected, Terry's Louisville Slugger O16 bat shows heavy use and is un-cracked. There is grain swelling on the back barrel that has been repaired with club house nails.
