This World Series is significant due to the only unassisted Triple Play turned in by Cleveland Indians second baseman Bill Wambsganss and being the first time the Cleveland Indians won the World Series, beating the Robins five games to three. This offered program is for the Indians Game 6 1-0 victory, with the only run scoring when Tris Speaker single with two outs, and scored when George Burns doubled him home. This scored program measures 5.5 x 8.75 inches, and has a completely detached cover which also has the date “Oct. 11, 1920” and score “Cleve – 1 Brooklyn 0” in pencil. In addition, there is some rust to the staples, and a vertical pocket fold. Grades Good overall condition.
