Long time New York Yankees pitching coach (1996-2005) Mel Stottlemyre signed this game worn red mesh button down 1997 American League All-Star Game jersey with “Game Used” and “1997 All Star Game” inscriptions on the number 3 in his number 34 which is stitched in white and navy tackle twill on the back of the jersey below his name in the same fashion. A New York Yankees Uncle Sam hat logo patch is on the left sleeve and a “Jackie Robinson 1947-1997 50th anniversary Breaking Barriers” patch is on the right. The American League and 1997 All-Star Game logos are also stitched in navy and white tackle twill across the front. An MLB Authentic Diamond Collection/Majestic manufacturers label with size “46” flag tag is on the left front tail. Jersey has been PSA/DNA pre-certified and comes with LOAs from Mel Stottlemyre and noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
