Already an established star by 1987, Reds center fielder turned in one of the finest single season performances of the decade. Leveraging his rare speed and eyesight, Davis became the first player in Major League history to hit 30 home runs and steal 50 bases in a season. Davis' Louisville Slugger H238 is un-cracked and shows excellent use. His number "44", though faded, is hand written in black marker on the barrel end. According to Louisville Slugger records, this bat matches an order placed by Davis on August 21, 1987. A great gamer from the Reds beloved center fielder, used during his finest season. Letter of Authenticity (1B08443) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 8.5.
