Smith was a star with Lasorda's club and was an integral part of LA’s three National League pennants and the 1981 World Championship. Smith's Louisville Slugger B267 bat, dating from that World Championship season, shows moderate to heavy use. Smith's number "8" is hand written on the knob end.
