A primary part of the pitching coach’s uniform the warm-up jacket lends an air of authority to the proceedings when a visit to the mound is necessary. This MLB Authentic Diamond Collection/Starter XL New York Yankees 1998 World Series issue jacket is signed by long time Yankees’ pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre in bold silver Sharpie with a “World Series 1998,” inscription underneath a cursive Yankees logo stitched across the front in white tackle twill. Navy blue jacket has an MLB 1998 World Series logo patch on the right shoulder and a Yankees Uncle Sam cap logo patch on the left and a small MLB logo patch on the back collar. MLB Authentic/Diamond Club manufacturers label is sewn into the inside collar and a Starter label is sewn onto the inside left pocket. Clean snap-button jacket is in almost new with navy and white piping around the elastic wrist rings, collar and waistband; comes with LOA signed by Mel Stottlemyre and PSA/DNA pre-certification for signature.
