In the almost mythical summer of 1969, man walked on the moon, the world’s largest Rock & Roll festival was held at Woodstock and the “Amazing” New York Mets” won the World Series. This Spalding Official Warren Giles National League Ball is signed by 24 members of the Mets magical 1969 team. Which includes manager Gil Hodges on the sweet spot and Hall of Famers Tom Seaver and Yogi Berra, one of Hodges coaches along with Eddie Yost, Rube Walker and Joe Pignatano whose signatures are also on the ball. The rest of the signatures include: Jerry Koosman, Tug McGraw, Jerry Grote, Amos Otis, Wayne Garrett, Jack DiLauro, Gary Gentry, Bud Harrelson, Duffy Dyer, Rod Gaspar, Jim McAndrew, Cleon Jones, J.C. Martin, Ron Taylor, Ed Charles, Art Shamsky, Don Cardwell and Al Weis. All signatures are clearly legible in blue ballpoint pen and come with JSA LOA.
