The Grey Eagle was one of the greatest center fielders to ever play the game, and was part of the initial Hall of Fame induction class of 1939, being voted in during the second ever voting year of 1937. This Official “Central League” baseball has a black fountain pen “Tris Speaker” signature on a side panel (“6/10”). However, on the sweet spot and the north panel there is evidence of signature removal. A scarce Speaker signed baseball, which displays as a “single.” Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
