After the St. Louis Cardinals won the 1934 World Series, and Dizzy Deam won 30 games, he was one of the most popular players in the game. And Babe Ruth was, of course, he was Babe Ruth! Therefore, the geniuses at Quaker Oats decided to base their marketing efforts around these two baseball gentlemen, and produced a series of premiums given away for purchases of their cereal products. This includes two items each from The Babe and Ol’ Diz. Includes: Babe Ruth – 1) Champions “Members Club” Pin (PSA EX-MT 6). 2) Babe Ruth Champions Pin (PSA EX 5). Dizzy Dean – 1) a 2 inch long pin with “Dizzy Dean Winners” across the front of a bat, affixed upon a baseball. Grades EX. 2) a one inch diameter pin with image of Dean with “Dizzy Dean Winners” across bottom. Grades EX. Total of four premium items.
