This Boston Red Sox 7-1/8” cap appears to be from the 1970s, with the vintage “Tim McAuliffe” label in the band, and Pro KM stamped in the band. Within the cap is Williams’ number “9” written in black marker. On the underbrim is a bold, black marker “Ted Williams” signature. The inner band has some cracking and moderate wear, including some looseness to the tag. Possibly worn by Williams during many of his Red Sox spring Training or Fenway Park visits.
