This white pullover knit jersey features the team name “Angels” across the front with the number “41” on the reverse. On the lower front tail is the “Wilson 46” manufacturer’s size tag. This number jersey was worn by three separate Angles players that season with Dave Schuler’s 6 foot 4 inch size being one determining factor for why he likely wore this jersey. Also, Dyar Miller was traded mid season and Steve Eddy only played with the Angels until August 5th that season. Interestingly, Schuler appeared in only one game in 1979, making his Major League debut on September 17th, allowing two runs in 1.2 innings.
