This 35-inch, 32.4-ounce Hillerich & Bradsby model R195 Pete Rose pro-model bat was signed by Rose in bold black Sharpie between the label and barrel with a “1979” inscription. Rose hit .331 with a league leading .418 on-base-percentage for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1979. This Un-cracked bat shows moderate signs of game use with a smattering of ball marks and grain swelling on the barrel as well as some bat rack marks and has Rose number 14 written in black marker on the knob end. A portion of the left barrel appears to have been planed or sanded down and there is a small amount of residual pine tar in the handle. Wax finished Ash bat comes with PSA/DNA COA #K 14773 for the signature and PSA/DNA Letter of Grading and Authenticity for the bat rating GU8 with certification #1B01150.
