This dirt-covered, gray mesh button down size-42 Boston Red Sox road jersey looks like it could have been worn just about any day by scrappy second sacker Dustin Pedroia who has led the league in soiled uniforms on an annual basis since his Rookie of the Year season in 2007. The dirt on this jersey was gathered from the infield at San Francisco’s AT & T Park on August 19, 2103 when Pedroia tripled and scored in the Red Sox 7-0 victory over the Giants. Pedroia’s name and number 15 are in navy tackle twill on the back with Boston written in block letters across the front which contains a huge infield dirt stain covering the entire left side of the jersey spilling over onto the right. The left sleeve is adorned with the Red Sox regular pair of red socks logo patch just above an embroidered Majestic logo. A black armband honoring the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings rings the right sleeve. Jersey has ventilated side panels and an MLB Authentic Collection/Majestic manufacturers label is adhered to the front left tail with a “15 42 ‘13” strip tag and Cool Base flag tag at the seam. MLB authenticated.
