2008 was a milestone year for the Braves' third baseman. Simply crushing the ball throughout the season, Jones had back-to-back games in which he clubbed two home runs and by June he'd hit his 400th round-tripper of his career. Jones' average hovered around .400 for most of the summer, eventually settling at .364, making him the National League batting champion. At 36, Jones was the oldest switch hitter to ever win the batting crown. This magnificent Rawlings 794A dates from that tremendous season. The bat is un-cracked and shows light use. His famed number "10" is present on both ends of the bat. Most importantly, the future Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in silver ink, making a great piece of baseball history even better. Letter of Authenticity (1B04628 & 4A62657) from PSA/DNA.
