In the 4th inning of the May 30, 2104 game at Oakland, Drew Pomeranz of the A’s faced Los Angeles Angles outfield Mike Trout, with the A’s already leading 7-0. With a 1-0 count, and the big lead, Pomeranz threw a piped fastball, and learned never to do that to Mike Trout, who proceeded to pound the 1-0 pitch deep over the centerfield wall for his 11th home run of the young season. This is the exact ball Trout hit for that home run, which bounced off the distant center field wall and back on to the field. The OML Selig ball has tremendous evidence of game use, with multiple areas of smudging, the professional pregame rubdown, and a large scrape where ball met wall. The ball was tossed out of play to the ball boy, and was affixed with an MLB Authentic hologram sticker (EK817664). Great Mike Trout home run game used baseball.
