The all-time leader in post season games played (158), at-bats (650), runs scored (111), hits (200), total bases (302), singles (143) doubles (32), triples (5), and strikeouts (135); Derek Jeter used to reach up and tap a sign that hung above the tunnel that led to the Yankees dugout in old Yankees Stadium containing a familiar Joe DiMaggio quote: “I want to thank the Good Lord for making me a Yankee.” Jeter can certainly appreciate the sentiment behind that quote as being a Yankee is the predominant reason for his name being at the top of so many post season leader boards. Jeter signed this MLB Authentic (#LH 733136) Rawlings Official Bud Selig 2009 World Series ball in blue ballpoint pen under a gold embossed 2009 World Series logo. The ball was used in Game One of the Yankees last World Series championship season and came out of play when it was hit foul by Alex Rodriguez in the 9th inning off Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee. Ball shows plenty of game use with a large black ink transfer almost obliterating the labeling on the sweet spot and was given a good Delaware River mud pre-game rub down; comes with Steiner Sports Memorabilia COA.
