In the winter of 1980, the country was enamored by the USA Hockey Team’s magical gold-medal run in the Lake Placid Olympics that included a 4-3 upset over the powerful Soviet Union. The team inspired a country locked into the Cold War with the Russians. This 16 x 20 photograph shows the USA Hockey Team celebrating immediately after the game ended versus the Soviets. It is signed in blue Sharpie by every member of the team.
