The Texas Rangers 53-year history has its roots in the Washington Senators Major League expansion team of 1961, one of the American League’s first two expansion teams. This 34-inch Louisville Slugger commemorative “Farewell to Arlington Stadium Home of the Texas Rangers 1972-1993,” bat is signed by more than 100 Texas Rangers alumni including Hall of Famers: Nolan Ryan, Gaylord Perry, Ferguson Jenkins, Tony Perez and Goose Gossage as well as former general managing partner of the team and 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush. Other former Rangers to sign the bat include: Jamie Moyer, Rafael Palmiero, Al Oliver, Steve Howe, Ivan Rodriguez, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Hough, Bobby Valentine, Juan Gonzalez, Tom Grieve, Darren Oliver, Willie Upshaw, Odibe McDowell, Billy Ripken, Doug Ward, Dave Nelson, Claude Osteen, Bruce Hurst and many more.
