Nicknamed “The Hawk” for his incredible ability to patrol the outfield, Andre Dawson’s Hall of Fame career was fueled by more than just his standout play with the glove. Dawson became the first player since Willie Mays to hit more than 400 home runs and steal over 300 bases. Offered is career home run baseball No. 342, hit by Dawson in 1990 while playing for the Cubs. Dawson’s slightly faded signature appears in blue ink on the sweet spot of the Rawlings ONL William White baseball. An inscription in vivid blue ink appears on the west panel that reads: “ANDRE DAWSON SEPT. 12, 1990 #23 CAREER #342” The game used ball shows some discoloration, including dirt marks and scuffs, and is accompanied by a Mark R. Jordan and JSA COA, verification number “K81284.”
