Mo was still Mo, right to the end of his illustrious 19-year-career, recording a 6-2 record with a 2.11 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 64 innings. Mariano Rivera knew just when to hang his cleats up closing out the same way he came in, leaving an indelible mark on the game with a major league record 652 saves and 952 games finished. Rivera wore this MLB Authentic (#EK 641945) pinstriped New York Yankees home jersey at the Stadium for the game against the Baltimore Orioles on July 5, 2013 but was not called upon to relieve in the Yankees 3-2 win. Rivera signed the jersey in bold blue sharpie underneath the Yankees navy tackle twill interlocking NY logo with a “Game Used 2013 Final Season 7/15/13” inscription. Rivera’s number 42 is in navy tackle twill on the back and the jersey shows only minimal game use and an MLB Authentic/Majestic manufacturer’s label with “2013” and size “46” flag tags as well as a New York Yankees bar code sticker on the left front tail; comes with Steiner Sports Memorabilia LOA and hologram #200599.
