Burleigh Grimes won 270 games, was the last player to legally throw the spitball, and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1964. He signed this official Midwest League baseball “Burleigh Grimes” on the sweet spot in black ink with the added inscription of “Orioles” as he was a long time scout for the pitching rich Orioles in the 1960s and 70s. COA form PSA/DNA, cert number U47012, graded overall 6.5 with signature grading a “5/10”.
