The 38th President of the United States, Gerald Ford, has signed these two items in blue ink. Ford graced the cover Sports Illustrated on the July 8, 1974 issue, almost a month to the day when he took over for Richard Nixon. Ford signed and inscribed “To Warren Weatherby with best regards, Gerald R. Ford” on the lower right corner of the cover. Ford also signed a formal 8x10 color photo as part of this lot. These items have been Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
