Only one of seven examples of this blank backed card has been graded by PSA. This set was issued with blank backs or stamped with baseball plays such as “one bagger” etc. This card is one of the very rare pre-gum cards issued of The Iron Horse, and is very presentable with a stoic looking image of Gehrig staring right back at you, different from the personality of the subject. The card exhibits near perfect centering and square corners, but has a large horizontal crease near the bottom edge. One of a handful of Gehrig cards from the 1920’s. PSA GOOD 2.
