The Sanella Margarine set of 120 cards is a German produced set, including athletes from a diverse range of sports, with one significant baseball player – George Herman “Babe” Ruth. This very nice example is a Type 3, which is numbered and has the Sanella advertisement on the reverse near the bottom. Type 1’s are unnumbered and have this ad in the middle of the card, while Type cards are unnumbered and have the ad at the bottom. This card appears NM-MT with sharp corners, a crisp image and potent colors, but has been graded at PSA EX-MT+ 6.5. This is a nicely graded Sanella Ruth card, and is a desirable Type 3 variation. PSA Graded EX-MT+ 6.5.
