Known as “Killer”, Harmon Killebrew terrorized American League pitchers for 20 seasons, including his 1969 Most Valuable Player award. Based upon factory ordering records, Killebrew ordered and likely used this bat during the 1965-68 period, which includes the 1965 Minnesota Twins World Series season. This 35 inch, 30.8 ounce bat is un-cracked but has a significant amount of deadwood (grain separation) on the back barrel, and evidence of severe water damage all over – affecting all signs of game use and most likely affecting the original weight. However, the model number “S207” is stamped on the knob, which has a small piece missing. On the sweet spot is a bold, blue Sharpie “Harmon Killebrew ‘Killer’ HOF ’84.” Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number H53360 for the bat, and COA from JSA, cert number D87334, for the signature.
