Back in the days when the Hall of Fame Game was still part of the Induction Weekend ceremony at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, many of the old timers would assemble for the pre-game festivities at the village’s historic Doubleday Field. On this occasion July 26, 1965, 19 of the 21 Hall of Famers who posed for a photograph on Doubleday Field later signed this 7” x 10” magazine page including: Gabby Hartnett, Bill Dickey, Zach Wheat, Sam Rice, Edd Rousch, Heinie Manush, Carl Hubbell, Burleigh Grimes, Frank Frisch, Joe Cronin, Max Carey, Luke Appling, Bill Terry, Lefty Grove (twice), Hank Greenberg, Ted Lyons, Charlie Gehringer, Bob Feller and a non-malicious replica version of Dizzy Dean. This multi-signed photo comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA.
