After taking the baseball world by storm in 2010, Stephen Strasburg suffered an elbow injury, almost missing the entire 2001 season. His first full year back, Strasburg picked up where he left off, going 15-6 and helping lead the Washington Nationals to the National League East Division title. Strasburg wore this jersey two times, first on September 20, 2012 when they clinched a playoff berth, then on October 1, 2012 when they clinched the NL East title. Strasburg did not pitch in either game. However, this white button down jersey was worn by him during both celebrations. The front features his number “37” and the Nationals “W” logo. A white strip tag in the collar reads “37 52 ’12 556” and the lower front tail has the “Majestic 52” manufacturers size tag. Across the back is his name “STRASBURG” and number “37”. All lettering is in red on blue tackle twill. A big part of the Nationals present and future, this is one of the first Strasburg jerseys to come available on the auction market. MLB Authenticated (EK315272).
