The owner of 141.5 career sacks, Michael Strahan emerged as one of the NFL’s most imposing defensive lineman during his 15-year career. Strahan, who helped the Giants to a win over New England in Super Bowl XLII, was part of the NFL’s most recent Hall of Fame class in 2014. This game-used helmet comes from Strahan’s 2003 season with the Giants, when he registered 18.5 sacks, the second highest single-season output of his career. The blue helmet boasts “NY” logos on each sides, a red stripe down the middle and features Strahan’s number “92” centered at both the front and back of protective headwear. The back of the helmet features an American flag decal and NFL logo shield. The inside of the size XL helmet features Strahan’s number “92” on a decal by the left ear. The Schutt model grey facemask shows heavy signs of game use as evidenced by the denting and scratches. The blue exterior of the helmet also shows heavy signs of Strahan’s collisions with opposing blockers in the trenches. The game-used Strahan helmet comes with a Mears LOA.
