Please note a wrong item description was listed in catalog (with correct photo) . Below is the correct description.

Throughout his 20-year career in New York pinstripes, Derek Jeter has been a model of consistent excellence. 2010 was no exception: as captain of the defending World Champion Yankees, Jeter helped lead his team into another post-season by hitting .270 with 10 homers. Along the way the fans voted him onto the American League All-Star team and his flawless fielding at shortstop earned him the AL Golden Glove Award. Perhaps a large part of his consistency at the plate can be attributed to the bat he uses. Since his days in the minor leagues, Jeter has used a Louisville Slugger P72 model bat. This P72 is carries Jeter’s trade mark black finish and shows evidence of outstanding use and is un-cracked. The Captain sure took some deep cuts with this bat and as such the barrel has some checking from repeated ball contact. Many ball marks and stitch impressions can be seen as well as white leather ball scuffs with blue ink transfers. Cleat marks are found on the barrel and there is a moderate coat of Mota Stick remaining on the handle. The knob end has the date of manufacture “5/13/10” stamped into it along with the length “34” and weight “32”. The future Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in contrasting silver ink. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this perfect example of a Derek Jeter gamer a GU 9.
