DC Comics produced this large size 72 page comic in 1978. Filled with tremendous artwork, the story line follows Superman teaming up with Muhammad Ali to defeat an alien invasion of earth. Science fiction? Maybe, but if anyone one mortal was qualified to join forces with Superman in 1978 it was The Champ! While most copies of this comic are of the DC Comics imprint, this one is the rare Whitman imprint version, making it all the more collectible. Ali has signed the front cover in dark blue marker. The comic shows good use with some light paper and ink loss on the cover, none of which distracts in the east from the display impact of the art and signature.
