Considered by many as not only the most natural actor of Hollywood's Golden Era, but also the most versatile. Tracy could do it all, from the serious drama, to comedy and musicals. Before World War II Tracy enjoyed a string of blockbusters and a pair of Oscars. His career began to cool in the late 1940's but an inspired pairing of the veteran with Elisabeth Taylor in 1950's "Father of the Bride" earned him another Oscar nomination and once again made Tracy the most popular male lead in Hollywood. This cut autograph is dated 1950, the year he made his triumphant comeback. Signed in pencil the piece has been cut from a larger page and glued to a 3" x 5" card. There is some glue residue visible on the edges of the cut, but the pencil signature remains strong; a wonderful reminder of Hollywood's glamour days. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA and graded Authentic.
