By the time "The Chief" retired after the 93-94 season, he had played in a record 1,611 NBA games and was a key component in 4 championship Celtics teams. When the time came, he was a shoe-in for the Basketball Hall of Fame. Parish wore this road jersey on his final tour of the NBA cities before he hung up his sneakers for good. Much like Parish's silent and stoic presence on the court, this museum-worthy gamer possesses the same awe-inspiring qualities as The Chief himself. The front has "CELTIC" in white tackle twill letters above his now-retired double digit "00". Collar and sleeve openings have white and green striped ribbing. The left shoulder strap has the black number "35" memorial to Reggie Lewis, who tragically passed away during a practice session. The back has "00" in white tackle twill below "PARISH". The Hall of Famer has signed the first "0" in black marker. The jersey originates from the collection of Ed Borash, a Boston area printer who maintained a long term relationship with the Celtics and its players. MEARS has thoroughly examined this jersey and graded it AUTHENTIC.
