Ansley Truitt wore this zipper-front white Dallas Chaparrals game-worn warm-up jacket during the 1972-73 ABA season. Truitt’s name is stitched on in red/blue tackle twill on the back of the jacket over the dribbling bird logo and “DALLAS” is sewn on the front. The Rawlings Size 44 patch is sewn on the inside bottom front of the jacket vertically along the zipper line. The jacket also features a shielded patch with “DALLAS ALL-AMERICAN CITY” and blue/red/blue tapering on the sleeves and waist. There is evidence that this was used in the previous season by a different player as there are markings of a name that was removed, most likely that of Len Chappell. This item comes with a Letter of Authenticity from noted game jersey expert Dave Miedema.
