Optimism is never in as much abundance as it is on Opening Day and the Toronto Blue Jays had to be feeling good about their chances with a 13-3 rout of the Minnesota Twins on Opening Day at the Rogers Centre on April 1, 2001. This dirty MLB Authentic (FJ025956) Schutt Original Hollywood Bases base looks like it saw plenty of action at third, as it was being trampled on all-day by Blue Jays base runners. Plenty of dirt is still evident on the decorative base that carries a red, white and blue printed MLB Opening Day logo on top. It also alters Rogers Centre, MLB Opening Day and Jays nameplates inlaid along all four sides.
