The numbers don’t lie --- Jerry Rice is the NFL’s greatest receiver of all time. The winner of three Super Bowl titles with the San Francisco 49ers, Rice still stands atop the game’s leaderboard in career touchdowns (208), receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895) and receiving touchdowns (197). Rice signed these game-used Puma cleats on the outside right foot in bold, blue sharpie with the accompanying inscription “#80.” Rice’s number “80” is written in black sharpie on the heel of both size 11.5 cleats. The inside of both shoes boasts the inscription “11 ½ 0492 143 124” in blue. The signed, game-used cleats show light evidence of game use. Rice was known to heavily tape his shoes during games and even mark the outside with another manufacturer’s logo, according to Mears. Rice’s signature is backed by a JSA LOA, certification number “X65804” and a Mears LOA also is included verifying the authenticity of the cleats.
